Summer Scrapbooking

With the sun shinning more and more it gets harder and harder to sit down and set aside time for scrapbooking and paper crafting! Try to simplify you scrappin sessions by having everything on hand that you need so that when you fit creativity into your busy summer schedule its fun. Even if you just fit in a few quick layouts here and there.

Keep your scrapbooking supplies organized so that you can easily find what you are looking for. The Pampered Chef Tool Turnabout is a great little place to keep markers scissors, bone folder etc. something like this keeps everything in one compact space. Never again will you spread all your tools all over your workspace, only to have to spend an hour looking for your eyelet setter that was just there a minute ago?! After searching and searching it was under your book the whole time but the moment is gone your frustrated and ready to clean up! Not anymore with things organized and in one place scrapbooking sessions are way more fun! SO take a rainy afternoon and get your craft area sorted out so that your future creativity session are full of inspiration not frustration ! Keep it simple!

Don't limit yourself to pictures of the kids, pets or friends and family all smiling and having a good time scrapbook anything that you want to remember , that makes you smile or that makes you cry for that matter, anything that you never want to forget. Like the spring flowers that are just blooming or that bran spankin new dishwasher or fridge you just had delivered, your child's broken arm and the tree he fell out of or tree that fell on your car, your teenagers first fender bender! These things may seem silly but the pages you create with them all have great memories and lessons attached and they will create great walks down memory lane for years to come.

Card making is great too! It's a much smaller canvas to work with, so its less intimidating than scrapbooking. With all the stuff I have, I still haven't scrapbooked! hah
