Morning! With Valentines day approaching I am trying to not procrastinate at making cards for Abby's schoolmates teachers etc. AS you all know its a little crazy around this time at the flower shop! Abby loves helping me create!! She is so excited about making valentines and our upcoming first kids class! I just thought that I would share some thoughts on my beautiful little girl ..... My daughter is 5 and I have been approached by her school about her speech. NO biggy just mis pronouncing a few letters. But it is amazing to me how many children they say have speech issues. Maybe I am just naive or biased but whats wrong with my little girl saying Balentine ,hamgabur, pascetti or no way hosway. I don't know but maybe its just me but I thought kids all spoke this way when they were little. I know I have to correct it but they grow up way to fast!!!:)

Enough about me these few V A L E N T I N E S :) have the same layout but I just changed it up a bit. Just to show you the flexibility of a layout. Don't be afraid to reuse the same layout over and over its fun to see the little changes each time.

Another Choclate Tin

This is another Box of Chocolates that I made for Valentines day. I wrapped each little chocolate in the retire Su paper (cerise) and the tied them with a little non su ribbon. I used Happy Heart day for the tag and the card. The colour combo is regal Rose Real Red and Very vanilla. The Be Mine Is from last cattys hostess set so many sayings I believe!

Mug O Love

This is a mug I made with the new Sale- A - Bration Rub-ons which are fabulous! You can earn them for free starting February 1st! Ask me how! I really love the different colours. They come with one sheet black one white one olive and one chocolate! Isn't that great!!!!

First I just made the mug. Which I got at the dollar store aren't they awesome!!! They come in a bunch of colours orange. lime and Brown. I was soo excited about this great find. Anyways I thought that the mug by itself was a bit plain. So I added the hot cocoa and I was thinking it would make a great gift with a book and a bookmark!!!! Wouldn't it! From the Heart

This is a birthday card I made for a good Friend. I really likes the softness and calm of the whole card. I swapped this layout a few months ago and it stuck in my head as something that I wanted to re create.

Recipe: Wild Wasabi , Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla CS, as well as a thin strip of bashful blue.

The stampset is Stem Silhouettes I think that its called and old hostess set from the last catty.

Pre-teen Wall art Class

This is an example of what we will be making at the pre-teen class. I am opening this class to anyone as well as adults and you can customize you piece to your liking. I will have different paper etc for everyone to choose from.

My First Pre-Teen - Teen Class (recommended minimum age 10)

Let your teen get creative and make a fun art project showcasing them and there favorite friends. (picture to be posted closer to the date) they will be required to bring a few pictures of there choice on there own colouring utensils!They will leave this class with there very own stamp-set One Of a Kind and a beautiful project to decorate there room or even locker at school.

Be Mine!

A cute Valentines Gift idea! Using the hinged nugget tins i wrapped Hershey's chocolate nugget in groovy Guava DSP and punch a small heart to decorate the top of each. I used chipboard and micro beads for the charm and tied chocolate chip sating ribbon around it. For the matching card I used Happy Heart day SS Groovy DPS Chocolate chip and white CS. Sorry for the quick post but I am working on some fun stuff to post in the next day or two so be sure to check back!!!:)

Time Well Spent

Good Morning!

Today I am getting ready for my technique class tonight but I wanted to post a quick something for you to look at today and get inspired. Matt Started a new job today! We are so excited for him and our family. This seems like a really great turning point after a few years of layoffs and job losses. Never Fun! But we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel so this is a really great day for us!

I am so Proud!

Not to toot my own horn but I freakin love this card I just made! I want to submit it for a contest at Stampin Up for demos do you think its worthy?

I used Choc Chip , Bravo Burg and Groovy Guava Cs as well as watercolour paper.

Bravo ink and marker olive ink and marker and lots of other inks with my aquapainter to make the truck look old and rusty!

The technique on this card is called the reflection technique. I wasn't sure I was going to like it with the truck but I LOVE IT!!! HEHE I tried to make the truck look all washed out in the water. The only thing I might change or wish I had wan the loads of love accessories that co-ordinates with this set for the little person in the window cuz it does look like the truck is driving itself but whatever! And I might do something for the sky!

I also used my cropadile to dry emboss the dots on the edge of the card!

And then after all my excitement and creating I ran to show my husband my art work and he said "HUnny the truck is upside down!" ....... Thanks there Matt!:)

This is the great candy Jar that we made at my up lines monthly meeting! Thanks Lisa for the fun night and great idea. THis is her Blog. This is where I got the idea for the jar we will be making at the valentines chip board pre-order class. WE used Bali Breeze DS paper Purely Pom and versa mark ink. Black embossing powder and the its a beautiful thing stampset! we also used jumbo eyelets and new rubons! Enjoy.

I am really excited about this class! and Abby is too! Our first kids class and we can't wait!

All the projects will be made using the Stampset Bitty Birthday that will be included for them to take home in the cost of the class. Each child will be required to bring there own colouring utensils everything else for there projects will be provided.

Juice boxes and light snack will also be provided!

Sorry... SO Tuckered!

Hi All! I know I was suppose to have my class schedule up by today but I was so tired when I came home from work and I just snuggled up on the couch for the greater part of the evening and now I am off for some much needed sleep!
