Got Sketch 101 Challenge #3

This is another one of my finished projects from the latest awesome sketch 101 challenge. This was a make and take designed by the one and only...our one and only..... Heather Summers! I am having alot of fun with this class and getting alot of scrapbooking done! Its great! Classes officially start on June 10th! All these other projects are just extra for fun!

This is a home decor project that can be hung on the wall or set up in a plate stand. Or it can be mounted to a 12x12 sheet of scrapbooking paper and used as a layout!

I hope you are enjoying this sweltering weekend! Just the beginning to the worst part of summer! Heat!... even worse in Ontario it is always hot and humid! Well at least it gives me a reason to head to the beach!

THank-You Card

This is the card I made to Thank John Lyons for letting me be his shadow on Saturday! It was hard. I hate making cards for men! We really need to write SU and tell them that we need more manly stamps like geometric shapes and cool designs not just fish and trees. Anyways that's just my two cents. What do you think is it masculine enough?

Recipe: Fall Flowers DSP, River Rock Long Note, Vintage Brads, Old Olive 5/8' Grosgrain, Hostess set with scallop frame (this catty) SAB set

I have a new group of Ladies that just started my current stampers 10 club this week. This is what we made at our first meeting! I had tones of fun with these ladies. These projects were really easy to create. If you are interested in being a member of a club I have plenty of different options for everyone. Contact me for more info becca41284@yahoo.ca . I love the little 3x3 box. What a great item to tuck in your desk at work and have it full of cards ,to give away to a friend having a bad day or if OPpps you forgot someones birthday! Thanks ladies and I can't wait til next month!

What do you want to see in a Future Stampin Up Catty?

I love the Pretties Kit! But I find alot of my customers steer clear of it! I am not sure why maybe because you are unsure of whats included or how you can use it! This is one of the flowers included in the kit. Yes all the flower are white in the kit which I have heard alot of you comment on. Bla White! But you can dye them any colour with our re-inkers or you can stamp right on the flower! How FAB! I stamped on this flower with bitty backgrounds. Cute Eh! I personally would like to see these flowers in small kits in a future catalogue. Maybe even little packages of just flowers. What is on you I wish they had list? Leave a comment and I will email all you thoughts to Stampin Up. My friend Alesha gave me this idea. How can Stampin Up know what we want if we don't tell them. SO give me your feedback.

Recipe : Gable Green and Regal Rose CS (LOVE this colour Combo!) Flowers for you DSP, Lovely Labels , Bitty Backgrounds Stamp sets, Scallop Circle, corner rounder and 1 3/8' circle punches, white grosgrain ribbon.
Have a great Day and don't forget to leave me your feed back!!!!

Rocket Shaker! Stopping to smell the roses ... I mean tulips.

Everything is blooming and so much nicer to look at then the blah at the beginning of spring. We go walking almost every night with the kids. On the weekend Abby wanted to stay in an watch the Cat in the Hat with her Dad so Jackson and I toddled around the block. He insisted on walking and not riding in the buggy and he stopped to smell almost all the flowers! Such a cutie. We even found a birds nest. Without eggs Bummer! ( wouldn't it have been an awesome picture with robins eggs in it!) Here's a few pictures from our walk!

On to the card......

This is a shaker card that I made for my BIL's birthday last week. Its a little childish but still fun. I have a hard time making cards for grown men. Something I want to work on more. I think i need to invest in a more manly set! Whats your favorite masculine set?

Recipe: All supplies Stampin' Up! Unless noted. Old Olive Pumpkin Pie Taken with Teal and Tempting Turquoise CS, Jersey Shore DSP, Watercolour paper and stampin' write markers, Couluzzle, Micro Beads, Pun Fun, Family Phrases, and Starstruck. Small and Large Star Punches.
