Loving Wanted!

I bought this set to use on birthday invitations for my kids birthday party as we had a co-ed cowboy theme. I didn't really think I could use it for much else it was kinda an impulse buy! (We all have those don't we? it's not just me I am sure!) But I have to tell you I made myself use it and I cam up with some really cool cards! Well I think so anyways!:) This card was done using the reflection technique using your brayer to pull the ink of of a inked stamp. Then when you roll the brayer onto your project the image is mirrored to create a cool reflection like effect!!

This card is made using the faux leather technique. Super easy!!! Just randomly place small pieces of masking tape onto a piece of card stock. After it is completely covered cut out the size you need and sponge with different shades of yellow and brown to create a leather look. I used more mustard chocolate chip and really rust.

Enjoy!!

Seed Packets

I have seen these little seed packets on lots of Blogs and they are sooo cute and very simple to make! You can fill them with a pack of gum or actual seed or anything. I filled the jack-o-lantern with Candy Corn. Aren't they sweet!

ATC Converstion

I received the centre of this card at regionals as an ATC. They are a small version of a card front. When i received this card I wondered what on earth I could do with them they are too big for a 3x3 and too small for a card so I thought that I would make it into a regular card and this is what I came up with! I hope everyone enjoyed there Turkey and time with there family!

Happy Halloween Cards

The black cauldron card is a case from the regionals but I changed it a little added some spiders and the scalloped circle and Batty for you spider. I love using punches to create different embellishments! Its sooo fun!

These are simple variations of the same card. A fun way to mix up the same design by changing simple components.

Halloween Treats

Here are a few Halloween treats case etc that I have made for different workshops and classes. Email me privately for any instructions on how to.

The broom is made form paper lunch bags and be filled with anything candy etc and made with any size bag. Then you can just tear into it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has a happy, safe & Turkey filled Thanksgiving! I know that this is coming a bit early but this is my most favorite Holiday and I will be super excited and crazy busy baking and stuff on the day of and surrounding so I wanted to send out my well wishes now!

I made this card using Really Rust and Old Olive CS for the card base. The large oval punch with pumpkin pie CS layered together to make a pumpkin. Sponge the edges with brown to define the layers. I used the motifs large stamp to create the background.

Enjoy your Turkey dinner!

These are a few things that we made at my Regional Convention last week. It was really fun and I got alot of great ideas. The first is a cool new fold. It has a little pocket in the inside. I just tucked a candy package in there to show the pocket but you could insert a piece of Card stock with you greeting or message on there. This card is a bout 4x4 (without pulling it out and measuring it! :) so you could even tuck money in there if it was a gift.

This card we made using the new basic grey neutral CS. I love it. I think sometimes we tend to forget about the neutral colours but I was pleasantly surprised with this colour! I really liked it with the colours we used! Purely Pomegranate and soft Sky! Stamp set was Bo ho from the Mini.
Again another card stock that gets overlooked! KRAFT. Stamp Set. So Much (our gift for attending!)

This card is made by using a Kraft medium envelope. You seal the envelope and cut about an inch off the top making a pocket. You insert a piece of card stock into the pocket as your card. A simple belly band finished it off.

Merry & Bright CLass Results

These are a few examples that were made at the Merry & Bright Class at the end of September. I love this cubby little snowman. I am amazed at how much I use this adorable set! On the left I have made a tri-fold card and decorated an Altoids tin for some Christmas treats (great stocking stuffer!) On the right is a cute little wish list to hang-up for the kids to write down there wishes as they think of them, or you could also add magnets to the back and hang it on the fridge.

Criss Cross

No the band isn't making a comeback! LOL. It's a cool new fold! I love this card they look so fancy and professional! I think that they would make beautiful invitations as well! Tutorial to come soon!
